Job Description

Universal Studios Hollywood, the Entertainment Capital of L.A. has an opening for an experienced Sales Coordinator of Event and Group Sales. We are looking for a dynamic individual to be a part of a winning team and work for one of the top companies in the world. This position is responsible in supporting the sales initiatives and sales managers of Universal Studios Hollywood's corporate events and group ticket programs such as meetings, receptions, picnics, park buy-outs and park mix-ins. The ideal candidate for this role must be organized, results focused, detail oriented and passionate in sales. The candidate will report to and work closely with the Sales Manager(s).

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Support managers with event and group sales initiatives
• Assist with tradeshow and business travel preparation
• Assist with client site visits and familiarization tours
• Prepare proposals and budgets for Internal Events, including Private Studio Tours, CityWalk and Park
• Coordinate team scheduling for sales conferences and offsite appointments
• Oversee event financial tracking and processing payments; credit cards, ACH, internal charge codes
• Manage internal reporting logs and shared drives in real time
• Prepare event booking sheets, site requests, contracts, proposals and budgets
• Assist with lead generation and marketing support
• Lead organization efforts and execution of direct mail campaigns
• Manage contract routing and event file management
• Oversee ticket type development processing
• Direct client interaction: videoconferencing, correspondence, in person, email
• Manage inventory and organize all storage spaces
• Manages general office and administrative tasks, including ordering of miscellaneous supplies, renewing memberships and subscriptions, managing distribution lists, deliveries, etc.
• Ensure that all processes are completed timely and accurately
• Additional duties, as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree, major in Business, Marketing, or Sales preferred
• Minimum 2 years sales experience
• Proven success in working with and supporting multiple individuals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Eligibility Requirements
• Must have reliable transportation and able to conduct sales calls in Southern California
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
