Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will partner with the YouTube Enforcement and Operations (E&O) team. You will help YouTube prevent harm by ensuring that our operations organization grows, scales, and operates effectively and has the tools, knowledge, and insight that they need to be successful. This role may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content during team escalations in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.

Resonsibilities:
• Partner with Trust and Safety, E&O leadership to drive day-to-day operations, including operational business reviews and resource planning.
• Identify key issues across our abuse-fighting landscape and structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives.
• Develop work plans, gather, and synthesize relevant data. Lead analyses, develop final recommendations, and ensure they are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate findings to leadership with executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, operations, and/or a management role at a global technology company.
• Experience in project/program management and operations.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience using data analysis to drive decision-making, including experience with structuring strategic analysis and SQL.
• Ability to work with different team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems.
• Ability to understand and articulate the big picture to executives, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage across multiple, often time-sensitive initiatives paired with an effective project management mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills (e.g., communication, consulting, presentation, influencing skills).
