The YouTube Studio Platform organization is responsible for YouTube Studio on web and mobile. The teams own the backend, web, mobile, and data infrastructure that power Studio, as well as the core experiences (navigation, landing pages, settings). Studio is a strategic component of YouTube's offering, as it provides access to creators. As such, the Studio Platform team works with partner teams across YouTube. The team sets up the integration principles as well as drive the overall product vision and strategy for the Studio Platform.

YouTube has grown into a community used by over 1 billion people across the globe to access information, share video, and shape culture. The YouTube team helps budding creators build careers, creates products like YouTube Kids, YouTube Music, and YouTube Gaming, and engages communities around shared passions and global conversations. Resonsibilities:
• Help set technical direction, review and influence ongoing design, architecture, and standards.
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
• Work closely with the product management team to build the vision and opportunities and to ensure Google's building excellent products.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• People management experience. Technical leadership experience.
• Programming experience, and experience with system design.
• Experience communicating and working across teams.

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related degree.
• Relevant industry experience from video or e-commerce industry.
• Experience working across organization, setting up the strategy and vision for the team as well as working cross-functionally.
• Experience with frontend and full stack development.
• Familiarity with Web and mobile frameworks, logging and building metrics, testing, performance, reliability, UX system design.
