Product Manager, Account and Software Security

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at Google speed.

Our team works closely with creative and prolific engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Resonsibilities:
• Keep YouTube accounts safe from threat actors.
• Protect the platform from software vulnerabilities.
• Advocate for our principles as you influence the rest of YouTube to design the best experience for our platform's safety.
• Work across Google and the industry to leverage the best of what technology can develop to solve complex problems.
• Work to keep users safe.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in product management, setting product direction, driving goals, and executing roadmaps.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working on algorithm-centric products that leverage machine learning at scale.
• Experience in consumer account integrity and/or software development.
• Experience working across large cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to take initiative to solve problems and develop clear solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
