The Product, Data, and Technology team at Wondery is responsible for a wide range of functions, including development and operation of Wondery.com (http://wondery.com/) and the Wondery app, Wondery+, Analytics and Research, Publishing Operations, Customer Service, and enterprise IT initiatives. We are looking for a talented, seasoned, and detail-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to help manage and make a significant impact on the business at Wondery by tackling a wide range of technical programs with the Wondery Ad Operations and Finance teams.

If you are passionate about applying technology to solve business problems and love challenges that come with developing efficient technical processes and workflows, then this role is for you. As a TPM at Wondery, you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously. In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will work with a lean team from the Wondery Ad Ops and Finance to help design and architect solutions that improve operational efficiency. You may find yourself analyzing and helping re-define existing business workflows, working with external vendors to help architect new tools that help your internal customers, and impacting revenue-generating sytems for the Wondery business. The right candidate possess an affinity for quickly identifying technical tools to help automate operational tasks and is comfortable diving deep into technical documentation and integrations.

Key job responsibilities
• Analyze existing business processes/requirements and translate into technical solutions
• Review existing Ad Ops/Finance operational workflows and define and implement technical solutions to help reduce manual tasks
• Integrate new tools with existing Finance software, leveraging 3rd Party APIs and other integration options
• Manage technical projects involving external vendors/engineering teams to help build new tools for the Ad Ops/Finance teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams
• Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with workflow automation tools such as AirTable, Google Sheets, Zapier
• Experience with ERP software such as NetSuite and CRM solutions such as Boostr
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Organizational skills, successful track record of coordinating between multiple project stakeholders, technical program managers, and software development teams.
• Experience with Data Security, Privacy, and InfoSec principles.
• CSM, PMP or related certification with strong skills in technical /non-technical documentation writing - Request for Proposals, Project scoping, SOW, Executive summaries, Status reports.
