Job Summary/Description:

Live 5 News is looking for an experienced executive producer for our Emmy winning and market dominating morning show and noon newscast. Our next executive producer will lead the charge on our morning show that is hyper focused on what's new, what's happening now and what's next. We need someone hyper focused on content, who can listen to scanners, deploy crews, make phone calls, approve scripts and in an emergency booth a newscast. We are a hard news, enterprise driven newsroom. Our Morning Executive Producer will be the front line manager for employees dedicated to our morning newscasts. Every employee at Live 5, including our news managers, are content creators. You will work along side our reporters, producers and anchors to produce content for our broadcast and digital platforms.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Approving scripts
* Coming up with story ideas
* Creating schedules
* Pulling together FCC reports

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Must be an experienced producer
* College degree required
