Job Summary/Description:

Live 5 News is looking for a Digital Content News Producer. We are looking for a journalist that is passionate about sharing content online and on social media. We need someone who is a great writer and has solid news judgment.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Write, edit & attach video to news stories on Live5News.com
- Monitor news sources to develop news content
- Promote content on social media through engaging posts.
- Managing station social media
- Ability to fill in on other shifts as needed, including early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must be a strong writer and copy editor with excellent editorial judgment, time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly. Must have basic working knowledge of web design and maintenance. Experience with writing in AP style is preferred. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as ability to quickly learn software applications used in the newsroom. Knowledge of entry level video editing software a plus.
