Job Description

The Manager, Business Insights & Analytics will play an integral role in driving reporting and analyses aimed at developing a deep understanding of subscriber behavior and strategic assessment to support decision making across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for a data- and numbers-driven leader to influence and shape the international success of our Direct-to-Consumer streaming service. The Manager, Business Insights & Analytics will build and maintain data visualizations and synthesize large volumes of data into actionable visual insights meaningful to the business. Additionally, the role will partner with stakeholders to build analytical frameworks to solve business challenges.

Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver accurate, high-quality, thoughtfully designed reports and data analyses to address operational and strategic questions
• Synthesize large volumes of data and complex concepts into clear accessible learnings
• Assist in building compelling presentations that communicate clear actionable insights
• Delve deep into data sets for insights around specific topics requested by leadership
• Act as a visualization subject matter expert providing support to team member
• Work closely with key stakeholders to translate business expert analysis use cases into reporting requirements
• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the company (Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Product, Operations) to drive our team's success
• Understand the business objectives of the division and proactively suggest data sources and analyses to guide key decisions
• Build presentations and discussion documents ensuring integrity of basic data and a coherent narrative of the business results and objectives
• Advocate for data-driven decision making across the organization, helping other teams to access the required information
• Review business case projections developed by operating groups and business development team to ensure consistent frameworks and criteria for analysis and evaluation of initiatives
• Develop strategic framework for budget and long-range plans, including consolidation of macroeconomic data, industry trends, and key performance indicators for HBO Max Latin America
• Provide analytical support to complex deal negotiations, including distribution partnerships and major content licensing agreements, among others
• Provide forward-looking insights and propose recommendations

Qualifications
• Superior analytical skills and experience delivering business intelligence and data solutions
• Proven track record of performing comprehensive analyses independently
• Solid understanding of corporate strategy, profitability drivers, forecasting and sensitivity analysis, with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of media, technology and telecommunications technology preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success working in high-performing, cross-divisional teams, as interaction and cooperation with many groups and functions across Warner Media is essential
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail, aiming for zero-defect work with a continuous improvement
• Proficient Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Looker or Tableau
• Able to quickly learn and adopt new technologies
• Fluent written and spoken English AND Spanish or Portuguese
• High tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environment
