The job:

Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting, and analysis in the ad sales or distribution revenue domain. You will manage a team of analysts and ensure deep knowledge and competencies are developed to provide business stakeholders with the required information to make educated decisions.

Responsibilities:

1. Driving Commercial Insights and Analysis
• Lead commercial analyses on commercial questions across managed markets, to improve understanding, identify opportunities and feed into broader strategic questions
• Responsible for the r development of standard SMT reporting with pacing and commercial KPIs to highlight important trends, and events unusually based on internal and external revenue drivers that require SMT attention
• Generate insights on current commercial questions, opportunities, and challenges
• Manage ad hoc strategic and commercial financial requests i.e. preparing business plans, financial models and scenario analysis for situations including potential new channel launches or ceases, M&A
• Research and analyze market, client, and buying trends that shape the external media marketplace and understand their relevance vs our company

2. Providing core FP&A cycle activities s local teams
• Support month-ended close activities related to accruals/deferrals of revenue and related costs and validation of actual results in the system
• Provide variance analysis to explain n actual and forecasted performance of managed markets/regions vs prior year/plan/prior forecast
• Develop forecasts/budgets for managed markets by working with commercial team to review and validate their bottom's up, providing assessment and recommendations of revenue drivers to local finance directors

3. Develop p team of FP&A analysts supporting managed commercial area
• Lead and coach group analysts to provide high-quality support to their stakeholders
• Understand team development plans and work with them to address their gap through experience, networking, and training activities.

4. Ad hoc Operational and Commercial Projects
• Drive simplification projects to improve efficiency in working in FP&A commercial area (ie. Forecast modeling automation with machine learning, creation of global ad sale data warehouses reporting)
• Assist the business partners and central and regional teams with commercial related projects
• Collaborate across boundaries, share best practices working with different teams
• Gaia n comprehensive understanding of different markets in each region
• Establish helpful productive relationships with key contacts in HQ and across the regions to encourage the flow of information and share knowledge

Requirements:
• Experience in the Finance function in the FP&A department preferably in commercial areas
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• CIMA / ACCA / CPA certification would be preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in using EP solutions such as SAP BPC, Hyperion, Cognos, OneStream
• Knowledge of media industry dynamics and key metrics impacting revenue would be an asset
• Be able to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure while showing excellent attention to detail
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with h proven record of effectively presenting to both senior internal and external stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proven ability to complex findings into a 'story' with actionable findings to support commercial decision making
