The Job

The country lead for distribution will be responsible for developing the linear & digital distribution strategy in Philippines to maximize drive subscriber growth through effective packaging and bundling promotions with partners. This role will work across WarnerMedia's portfolio of channels and services, including CNN, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, HBO, HBO Family, HBO Hits, HBO Signature, Cinemax, HBOGo/HBOMax.

The individual will be tasked with leading the key distribution relationships and negotiations with cable & satellite operators, telcos and broadband providers in Philippines and evaluating the impact of new technologies and distribution partners. The position will also assist corporate management in all administrative functions including budget and facilities planning, team development and training needs.

The Daily
• Work with the Head of Affiliate & B2B Distribution, SEA to develop negotiation strategies and develop best practice for key deals.
• Lead and manage a direct team of approximately two distribution team members.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities with cable and satellite operators, telcos, broadband providers and, where applicable Satellite Master TV (SMATV) and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV), Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT), Direct To Home (DTH) operators and OTT (VOD/SVOD) platforms.
• Manage all aspects of distribution development and growth for the businesses, and evaluate the impact of new products, technologies and distribution partners on existing business, develop new product licensing strategies to address significant changes in consumer behaviour and TV consumption.
• Report back recommendations to the Singapore team.
• Manage the key distribution relationships and oversee the after sales support for linear and non-linear customers, spearhead and liaise with marketing to develop affiliate marketing programs
• Be accountable for achieving year-end sales goals and provide timely forecasts, reports, and competitive information and monitor account receivables on a regular basis.
• Liaising and working closely with other teams / functions in the business including HBOGo/ HBOMax team, programming, marketing and finance
