Distribution Coordinator

Job Description

The Distribution Coordinator will assist with post production and delivery for all broadcast content across Vox's growing suite of FAST & OTT Channels. This position will also own planning and coordinate assets from across a variety of Vox Media's networks, with the overall goal of preparing and delivering digital content for broadcast licensing and distribution. This position reports to the Post Supervisor.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task whilst working to strict deadlines. They will be someone who excels at meticulously troubleshooting problems, resolving issues with accuracy. The candidate must possess a positive and client focused attitude with strong administrational skills. A hardworking and determined individual would be well suited for this exciting new position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Support the Distribution Manager, coordinating and tracking content distribution pipelines across video production teams in order to service Vox Media's OTT & FAST channels
• Build strong troubleshooting acumen within Amagi, Airtable, and Chorus Video
• Create and curate playlists of existing and current video assets from Vox Media Networks for the OTT & FAST channels
• Own final QC and delivery of projects for broadcast, verifying accuracy of all production information and maintaining detailed logs and other records for both production and legal purposes.
• Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining delivery specs, trafficking and workflow procedures
• Ongoing media management & project management for archival best practices
• Supporting video production teams to clear content to the standard of broad distribution, including creating and submitting cue sheets

Bonus points for
• Experience as an Assistant Editor, Editor, or Post Coordinator
• Experience with Airtable

WHO YOU ARE
• You've got a strategic, creative and analytical mind with keen interests in news, TV, innovative storytelling and the broader media landscape.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and adept at problem solving technical issues
• Strong organizational & Media management experience (cataloging adding metadata, logging, folder structure organization, etc.)
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro, intermediate in Adobe After Effects
• Must be able to work well under pressure in order to deal with daily on-air scheduling and deadlines
