VICE x Team

Based in our London office, the Finance department is a newly centralised shared services team for EMEA who play a busy and vital role within the VICE Media Group.

Role x You

As our Management Accountant, you will work with the Finance Manager (UK) to assist with all month end tasks and reporting. This role will also assist the Nordic Finance Manager on some adhoc month end tasks.

Responsibilities
• • Intercompany reconciliation of all UK entities and responsible for monthly settlement – Any differences are identified and resolved; payments set up in the banking portal as well as accounting entries posted each month
• Assist Finance Manager for UK TV, France TV & Vice Europe Holdings with producing the monthly management accounts including cost accruals, prepayments, accrued/ deferred revenue, journal entries and other reconciliations.
• Responsible for the Fixed Assets Register for the UK including additions and disposals and running month end depreciation/amortisation.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation process and upload of month end reports for UK TV, France TV & Vice Europe Holdings including driving settlements and monthly reporting to the US.
• Responsible for Concur and Barclays card queries, reconciliation etc. for the relevant entities.
• Assist the business in raising purchase orders and review open purchase orders each month to identify and investigate any that can be closed.
• Assist Finance Manager with producing the monthly reporting for UK TV, France TV and Vice Europe Holdings which would include Balance sheet reconciliations, Intercompany reporting, Flux analysis and preparation of Quarterly packs.
• Assist Nordic Finance Manager with producing the monthly reporting for Change Incorporated ApS Limited including Balance sheet reconciliations, Intercompany reporting, Flux analysis and preparation of Quarterly packs. Entity is non-trading at present.
• Statutory requirements: assist with year-end audit and statutory processes.
• Assisting the Finance Managers with ad hoc queries/ clean-up projects.

Experience
• Newly qualified / part-qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 3+ years of experience in management accounting and financial analysis
• Experienced gained within a busy and fluid media / creative environment would be preferable
• You will have experience in business partnering and communicate with finance & non-finance stakeholders effectively and articulately for all International regions

• You will need to be highly organised, detail oriented and meticulous
• Proven experience of working to tight deadlines; working effectively under pressure
• Capable of working independently without being micro-managed. A team player with a proactive and enthusiastic approach who takes initiative where needed
• NetSuite/Salesforce/Concur experience highly desired
• Strong Excel skills
