Job Description

Reporting to the VP, Streaming, Korea, you will be responsible for managing the master licensee agent and global partnership activity locally while also sourcing and executing local licensing & promotional deals. The role will also partner with key Partners and support our agent and in-market teams with advice, best practice, and experience to drive incremental revenue through Key Account Management.

Responsibilities:
• Lead onboarding of third-party licensors to deliver video, audio, subtitles, and metadata into their supply chains
• Ensure all elements of content asset packages are available and complete to enable the scheduling and publishing to Paramount+
• Communicate and liaise with internal/external teams around content schedule updates and changes to ensure alignment across the content, marketing, and operational teams
• Build and maintain an inventory database and tracking system to provide management with oversight of content availability on Paramount+ in terms of volume, a mix of genres, localized assets, and newly added content
• Document, troubleshoot, and escalate issues – ultimately driving towards resolution through the collaboration of internal or external partners
• Work closely with international teams to develop, test, and implement workflows and systems to manage new business needs as required
• Contribute to the development of the strategy for detailed schedule plans, ensuring that they accurately reflect the overall strategy and priorities of key stakeholders
• Work with local teams and vendors to deliver best-in-class subtitling, dubbing, and metadata translation for Paramount+ content, meeting technical and creative specifications
• Work with the licensor to effectively plan, prioritize and determine timelines. Track and manage workflow to ensure timelines are met
• Work with affiliates to access existing localization where appropriate and manage an accurate inventory
• Monitor and manage localization costs in relation to the localization budgets.
• Monitor content rights to ensure that content is scheduled and published to Paramount+ (and sunset appropriately) to align with contractual license periods.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors' schedules, keep trends on competing content launches, and major competitive initiatives

Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent experience in TV / Communication / Technology, minimum 5 years in Content Operations within the Media & Entertainment industry
• Solid knowledge of the Korea Pay TV & OTT market, as well as Content Operations vendors and third parties
• Experience in content operations such as media management, tracking materials and dealing with third parties, etc
• General knowledge of the technical requirements for media such as video, audio & subtitle formats
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage projects, solve logistical problems, set priorities, and deliver on time
• High level of communication & organizational skills, plus high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a dynamic and global environment
• Proficiency in the English language is a plus
