Daily Blast Live, a nationally syndicated, live show from TEGNA, based in Denver, CO, has an immediate opening for a Producer. If LIVE TV gets you excited, and you have both news and entertainment experience, Daily Blast Live is the show for you!

Responsibilities:
• Pitch timely news, entertainment, and lifestyle topics that will incite lively conversation
• Produce real people as well as celebrity interviews
• Ensure creative storytelling that delivers both factual clarity and emotional connections with viewers
• Communicating breaking information to all relevant departments without supervision
• Research stories for facts and relevant background information to help inform hosts
• Deadline oriented
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure, live TV environment
• Self-starter, multi-tasker, willing to work production hours
• Responds quickly to changing circumstances and breaking news with a willingness to change as needed
• Seeks opportunities to promote more interactivity with viewers and users
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in television/entertainment broadcast
• Strong understanding and demonstrated proficiency in TV production
• Leadership experience in production, gathering/executing editorial content
• Solid news judgment, great people skills, and the ability to work with little supervision are necessities
• Writing/storytelling experience a must
• ENPS or INews experience a plus
• Experience producing interviews with celebrities and newsmakers a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Budgeted Compensation Range: $24.04 to $33.65

Travel: Rarely: less than 10%

Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment

Physical Demands Set: Sedentary work: Involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
