Responsibilities:
NBC10 Boston, NECN and Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra is looking for a highly organized creative professional to manage the day-to-day activity of the network's Design department. Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, you will manage a small team of highly skilled designers in all aspects of graphics production in everything from daily news to station branding. The ability to manage several projects at a time -- both short term and long term -- with a keen attention to detail is crucial to the success of the department and ultimately the organization as a whole. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with the ability to work with a variety of different teams and individuals across all levels of the organization. You must have an enthusiasm for creating great content and working in a highly collaborative and creative environment. The Design Department is relied upon to meet the graphical needs of all three stations with additional larger scale products as needed. This position is based in the brand new NBC Universal Boston Media Center in Needham, MA with the most up-to-date state of the art technology at your fingertips everyday.

Job Duties
• Motivate, engage and directly manage a talented team of designers in their daily work
• Receive all requests and assign appropriate resources to fulfill the needs of the business
• Develop a deep understanding of business priorities with a proven ability to shift focus on the fly as needed
• Maintain strong working relationships with all departments to serve their daily creative services needs
• Anticipate upcoming projects and independently gather information to expedite their delivery
• Create high quality graphical and video assets both independently and with the help of the team

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of project management experience
• 5+ years of Adobe Creative Cloud and Cinema 4D
