TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR REMOTE WORK YOU MUST RESIDE IN INDIA

The Environmental Health, and Safety Assistant Manager will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Achieve and maintain regulatory and other requirements' compliance having knowledge and awareness of the requirement. Be the face of workplace health and safety for Technicolor India.

Be able to communicate them, beginning with a legal register (ENHESA suggested) and then a compliance calendar showing compliance actions each week of the year and for any event-driven requirements such as a workplace injury, monitoring and reporting (air quality, noise, lighting, Enablon, etc.), permits and inspections related to HSE, if any

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Lead site Safety or HSE Committee
• Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
• Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
• HSE training matrix (general, by occupation) and training plan (annual update)
• Lead an internal audit at the site minimum twice per year
• Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
• Draft's inspection reports to document inspection findings.
• Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
• Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
• Manage site programs, policies, and procedures related to HSE
• Emergency Action Plan (EAP) often a portion of BCP in CS sites
• Injury and Illness prevention program (work-related)
• Coordinate site first responder team
• Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly inspections and corrective actions
• External certifications, if any (ISO 45001, SA 8000, ISO 14001 etc.)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Other SBI-related actions

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of health & Safety regulations and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
• In-depth working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, Visio) required.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health or related field required, Master's degree desirable.
• Minimum prior applicable experience is 6 years other safety-related responsibilities
• Proven top performer at analytical tasks requiring pattern recognition, error analysis, and reconciliation, including person to person verbal follow-up.
• Proven top performer at development and facilitation/presentation of training in face-to-face live sessions and also in Teams or other video application setting
• Skilled balance at demanding and achieving timely and exact compliance with standard workflows from a diverse base of participants and stakeholders who may not view workplace safety and health as their top priority (committee participation and/or leadership, corrective action plan and system, process and participation development and organization such as emergency action planning, persuasion of stakeholders to support safety programs, development of occupational risk assessments
