Job Description

Summary of Position

Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in the general ledger.

Responsibilities
• Monthly accounting close process

• Monthly review of operational departments expenses and accruals

• Work with finance department to analyze actual to forecast variances on a monthly basis

• Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger in SAP and record monthly depreciation

• Maintain prepaid expense schedule and record monthly amortization expense

• Review balance sheet to ensure proper short-term long-term presentation of assets and liabilities

• Maintain SAP setup of accounting fields to ensure detail reporting requirements

• Monthly account reconciliations

• Provide PBC schedules to external auditors and additional information as needed

• Ensure Company's accounting policies are adhered to and followed

• Ensures internal controls adhered to and documented

• Assists AP with vendor setup

• Various special reporting and analysis projects as needed

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions in the general ledger.

Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting

• 2+ years of accounting experience

• Knowledge of GAAP

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred but not required) and other financial reporting tools

• Knowledgeable in Excel functionality and model building
