Associate Director, Audiobook Licensing

Job Description

This role is responsible for negotiating audiobooks licensing agreements with major and independent book publishers. This is a role for an expert business affairs professional who can apply their knowledge of the book industry to craft licensing agreements that advance Spotify's audiobooks growth plan. The successful candidate will identify licensable catalogs, negotiate economic terms and align with book publishers on the scope of the licensed service and where in the world content will be made available.

Qualified individuals will have shown experience negotiating complex content licensing agreements between digital services and book publishers.

This role is not eligible for hire in Colorado, USA.
