On Demand Services Specialist

The OnDemand Services Specialist will regularly work with Programming, Broadcast Operations, Content Acquisition, Affiliate Marketing, Consumer/Digital Marketing, Digital Media, Ad Sales, Product & Operations and Technology & Operations (in Los Angeles, CA), external vendors and third parties to ensure that SPT Networks' VOD/TVE Content is programmed, packaged, and delivered to internal and external departments, in compliance with standards and specifications, and in a timely manner. The OnDemand Services Specialist will report to the Programming Manager for SPT Channels, Latin America & Brazil.

Responsibilities:
• Engage on an ongoing basis with the LatAm and Brazil Networks Programming departments to put together, maintain, update, and communicate internally and externally publishing calendar.
• Coordinate the work of Broadcast Operations in delivering the VOD video assets to applicable party, including ensuring that metadata is accurate regarding language, subtitling and screen formats is correct and communicated to the appropriate parties.
• Liaise with the TVE functional group sharing information, assets, processes, and the overlapping work that both services will require.
• Generate and research data to produce and deliver to applicable parties the XML, JPG and any additional ancillary assets needed for content generators, other vendors and internal support systems to package the VOD content for delivery to the Affiliates and subscribers.
• Support Affiliate Marketing in disseminating VOD Services Scheduling information and working with Affiliates in the region, through our affiliate's coordinator, to help them promote their VOD services based on SPT's Catch-Up titles.
• Support in organizing, processing and projecting the VOD Services advertising inventory and sponsorship opportunities when the service is deployed.
• Work with Manager, Product, Technology, Operations, and third-party vendors to mine VOD Services usage data and produce reports for internal SPT departmental use.
• Any other duties that arise related to the current and future business function.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively under changing environments.
• Ability to work with different departments and be able to negotiate with them to meet their requests.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
• Be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong presentation skills and creative writing ability.
• Effectively interact with employees across all levels in the company and be cool under pressure.

Education:
• 2-3 years of experience in either Media company, Open TV, pay TV.
• Bachelor's Degree on Communications, Productions, etc.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is a plus.
