ED, Digital Media Supply Chain Operations

SPE has approved the establishment of a Digital Media Supply Chain (DMSC) Agile Squad in order to d rive a holistic vision for SPE's end-to-end digital media supply chain by acting as the point of integration between different teams across SPE that touch the DMSC, spear-heading DMSC transformational initiatives, promoting studio-wide adoption of DMSC best practices, and facilitating cross-divisional collaboration . The DMSC Agile Squad will work under the direction of a squad sponsor and steering committee comprising of the senior most leadership of each business and technology function at the studio. The ED Digital Media Supply Chain
Operations will be responsible for documenting key DMSC processes, providing operational/business analysis, and managing the overall DMSC Squad and Program to ensure achievement of measurable outcomes in accordance with the strategy set by the DMSC leadership .

Providing support for the overall program, managing timelines, identifying dependencies/risks, and ensuring effective communication of progress and value delivery (including Agile ceremonies)

Performing guided interviews, documenting processes, performing functional decomposition, and creating effective visualization of processes for use within the DMSC Squad, with stakeholders, and with third party partners

Partnering with Finance and IT to analyze business opportunities, cost estimations, and value delivery, as well as supporting development of Squad recommendations and proposal s presented to DMSC leadership

Performing market research, benchmarking, and generation of standards/policy documentation in support of SPE adoption of industry best practice

Preparing presentations and project artifacts in support of overall program

Ensuring effective documentation and knowledge management of all learnings, notes, insights, and other information obtained through operation of the Program.

Education, Years of Experience, Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:
• Experience participating in Agile technology or operational program
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand operational workflows against current financial and corporate strategy identifying opportunities for optimization and effectively articulating the costs and benefits of those approaches
• Experience working collaboratively with Finance to define media related cost models or experience modeling potential cost approaches for a operational function
• Experience developing project proposals with detailed cost benefits analysis (Pyramid Principle experience a plus)
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process optimization approaches
• Competency with MS Excel, Visio, Tableau, and other analytical and process mapping tool sets
• Experience either implementing or working in a media standards-based environment (e.g. Digital Cinema or IMF based workflows/processes)
• Deep understanding of user-focused approaches to business operations and system/solution development
• Experience supporting significant change management initiatives in adoption of new processes within a media centric environment
• Ideally, experience working to support media programs/initiatives within a Studio environment
• Ability to build consensus and rally support within a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment
• Experience managing capital budgets associated with the product portfolio, inclusive of labor costs, software licensing, hosting, maintenance/support, etc.
• Possesses and shares a passion for the Product space, and infuses that enthusiasm as part of an invigorating work culture
• Capable of prioritizing multiple inputs, projects, and deadlines while nimbly pivoting should the operation call for it
• Openness to feedback from business partners and managers alike, showing a professional level of self-awareness and willingness to improve
• Past media experience is preferred, but not required
