Account Executive - Ad Sales/GSN

The Direct Response Account Executive is responsible for achieving and exceeding advertising revenue targets through the direct sale of advertising time and integrations across Sony Pictures Television (SPT), Game Show Network and other third-party representation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Drive advertising sales demand across new and existing clients and agencies with a primary focus, but not limited to, SPT's syndicated and third-party business
• Understand client needs and prepare sales proposals and presentations utilizing audience data and consulting with internal resources as needed
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing and coordinate order processing through all phases of the sales and fulfillment process
• Identify new prospective clients by observing other media, utilizing research tools, and networking
• Proactively keep clients informed of pertinent account and network information, as well as marketplace conditions
• Maintain awareness of client strategies and competitive landscape
• Delivers sales presentations to prospective and existing clients
• Work closely with Commercial Operations and Planning to assist help meet internal deadlines and network objectives
• Work with colleagues to brainstorm strategies to grow revenue, share knowledge and cover responsibilities when necessary
• Manage assistant(s) to ensure orders, revisions and reporting is done in advance of deadlines
• Interface with Finance to determine if clients are credit risks or worthy of credit terms as defined by Finance. Additionally, follow up with Finance and clients to resolve any billing issues and discrepancies.

WHAT YOU HAVE:
• 6+ years of experience actively selling Direct Response Advertising
• Strong knowledge of current DTC/Performance Driven marketplace, linear and digital advertising
• Four-year college degree required (BA/BS)
• Strong client/agency relationships with proven, quantifiable track record
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present both in-person and virtually
• Working knowledge of media math
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, analytics, and ratings
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Ability to manage accounts and potentially manage a team
