Rf Technician

Job Description

Dielectric is hiring an RF Technician to perform testing of RF, FM and TV products along with helping on complex assembly. This position is responsible for the final testing of RF systems or Antennas before they ship to the field. Experience with RF a huge plus, but willing to train a candidate with a background in electronics, strong problem solving skills, and the desire to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works with production specifications and plant data for product assembly
• Tests products to make sure they meet technical specifications
• Skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of technician and assembler duties and responsibilities
• Writes technical measurement reports for customers
• Work with new product teams to test equipment
• Make recommendations for product & process improvements
• Identify, troubleshoot and correct problems
• Able to produce a quality product in a safe and timely manner
• Able to multi-task
• Other duties as assigned
• This position works closely with and reports to Engineering

Required Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years working in a similar manufacturing environment
• Must be able to follow all safety guidelines
• Knowledge and understanding of RF, TV and FM antenna equipment
• Ability to operate network analyzer and measuring equipment
• Strong product and safety knowledge a must
• Comfortable and proficient with computers & other electronics
• Demonstrated organizational & communication skills with attention to detail and understands quality criteria
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Analytical with strong problem solving abilities

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Must be able to operate all equipment safely and within the manufacturers specifications
• The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel and crouch frequently
