Summary of Position:

Provide customer service, inventory support and intervention for Distribution Clients; act as liaison between all S&S support areas and management in the Client's Operations Group; responsible for inventory, order support to order fulfillment.

TASKS:

The Distribution Client Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day management of our Clients promotions, inventory and other time critical fulfillment issues.
• Review Vendor Compliance for Key Accounts
• Liaison with Clients operations team to ensure the following meet S&S standards:
• Title set ups
• Promotions
• Special billings
• Order fulfillment
• Provide weekly status reports on all orders for key accounts
• Weekly shipment tracking information
• Data warehouse reporting execution
• Communicate order jeopardy to appropriate parties
• Monitor appropriate reports & interact with clients to stay aware of upcoming release schedules, hot titles & reprints.
• Communicate these current priorities to the DC personnel
• Monitor Bindery shipping schedules & DC receiving schedules
• Communicate & follow up on inbound noncompliance problems to ensure that corrective actions are approved and addressed or waved so that subsequent outbound shipping schedules are achieved.
• Change title availability as determined by the Clients
• Enter & Manage inventory reservations
• Assist Inventory Control & Warehouse on Inventory issues.
• Track Stock Transfer orders – report activity to Finance for billing Client
• Establish/Execute processes to support non S&S sold transactions i.e. export, consignment, stock transfers, replenishment, consumer
• Monitor appropriate reports & interact with clients to stay aware of upcoming release schedules & up to date hot titles & reprints
• Prepare /Distribute reporting on order fulfillment, suspense, open orders
• Provide CFS on behalf of the client with claims/credits/billings when needed.
• Provide and Monitor POS/Consignment billings to CFS.

REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma
• Excellent P/C Skills including: knowledge of: MS Word, Access and Excel, UOPS, reservation system and Cognos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Detail Oriented
• Professionalism with Clients and internal contacts
• Publishing industry, experience preferred

SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
