We are the Showtime Product team that builds and supports both SHOWTIME standalone streaming service, and Showtime Anytime, our TV Everywhere service.

We are looking for a Lead Business Intelligence QA Engineer to lead a small group of BI QA engineers who ensure the accuracy and quality of data generated by our suite of consumer apps across a large and growing number of platforms (web, iOS, Android, FireTV, Roku, Xbox One, Samsung Smart TV, PS5, and many more!).

Day-to-day

You collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product managers, developers, and data engineers to understand our requirements for collecting data and its relative importance. Increasing data integrity by driving processes and recommending tools and vendors will be important. This will help us confidently use our data to measure our complex business, drive content discovery, and personalized app user experiences.
• Lead and support the BI Quality Assurance engineering team
• Drive new feature testing, regression testing, and audit/data integrity checks
• Build and maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, traceability matrices, and other crucial artifacts to ensure testing is thoroughly documented, reviewed, and signed off with each release cycle
• Preserve implementation documents (such as Data Layer specifications and custom JavaScript) and test for consistency and use of standard processes across implementations
• Ensure products and features have accurate measurement by validating on each device all the way through to the reporting layer
• Revise implementation documentation, work with Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager or recommend changes to Adobe configuration as needed
• Identify and complete opportunities to improve the Data QA Process
• Lead the development of data-quality monitoring solutions

Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of Adobe Analytics implementation OR Google Analytics implementation
• 5+ years using debugging tools, checking analytics and 3rd party tags using developer tools such as Fiddler, Wireshark, Charles, or Chrome Dev tools, and has experience defining standard methodologies for testing tools
• Tag management tool experience (Adobe Launch, Adobe Heartbeat, Google Tag Manager, Tealium)
• Data Analysis - has developed test plans and strategies for analytics, owned data mapping, and quality audit strategies and has basic SQL query proficiency
• 2+ years of Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications
• JIRA and Confluence experience
• Prioritization - ability to distinguish business-critical issues from lesser ones, and balance ''perfect'' with ''good enough''
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and other software languages
• Agile/Scrum experience
