We have an exciting Product Brand Manager position open in our Los Angeles office.

The Product Brand Manager will be focused on creating and maintaining strong relationships with all partners to facilitate Shondaland's movement forward in the marketplace and the community. The incumbent will assist in maintaining brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communications, while managing a portfolio of Shondaland products and experiential activations. The Brand Manager will be immersed in all consumer product projects from concept development to final production.

This position is based in Los Angeles and reports directly to the Director of Consumer Products (DCP).

THE DAILIES - YOUR IMPACT:
• Execute the overall brand strategy by helping create style guides and working with partners to ensure projects align with Shondaland's goals and values.
• Work closely with ABC and Netflix to facilitate product collaborations for associated IP.
• Aid in product development and product launches, including brainstorming concepts and managing design feedback.
• Establish quality control strategies.
• Ensure department meets targeted deadlines that support overall goals of Shondaland.
• Keep the department informed of status updates across all current and upcoming projects.
• In collaboration with DCP, participate in conversations with potential partners to discuss untapped opportunities in the marketplace and community.
• Keep abreast of market research and news to support current market trends and demographic shifts.
• Work with our art department for brand visuals and to create brand assets and collateral in line with brand identity.
• Collaborate with internal departments at Shondaland to facilitate input, maximize synergy and create cross-platform opportunities.
• Be a project champion creating internal enthusiasm for new projects and serve as a mentor and resource to other team members.

YOUR ESSENTIALS:
• Creative and strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
• Keen understanding of the creation, use, and scope of brand guidelines.
• Demonstrated time and project management skills.
• Solid analytical skills and active listening skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional report and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge in packaging design and some retail display creation.
• Ability to manage and allocate budgets.
• Strong relationship-building, problem-solving and delegation skills.
• Aptitude to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
• Must be a self-starter with energy, drive and determination.
• Ability to manage within Shondaland's positive and collaborative culture are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in consumer product management or project management required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, advertising or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' managing a team of up to 2 or more.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-Suite and Trello.
• Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or other design programs a plus.
• Up to 10% travel required.
• Possess a reliable form of transportation.
