Job Description
Sesame Workshop is looking for a Coordinator, Technology and Archive. The Technology and Archive Coordiantor, will work closely with Marketing Operations and Archives assisting broadly across several platform's including Digital Asset Management systems (DAMs), Project Management Tools, and Network Servers to help ensure long-term viability, access, and preservation of Sesame Workshop assets.

Expected duties include detail-oriented assessment and restructuring of file structures; metadata tagging and cataloging of visual assets in Sesame Workshop's Digital Asset Management System; storage and asset migration for ongoing brand creative and marketing projects; participation in departmental meetings; and asset coordination for pertinent archival requests.

Key Responsibilities
• Assessment and directed restructuring of network knowledge organization
• Assist in the establishment, organization, creation, and application of metadata for new and existing collections
• Metadata tagging and cataloging of assets in Sesame Workshop's DAM
• Asset migration for ongoing Brand Creative and Brand Marketing projects
• Evaluate and reorganize existing collections to better facilitate access as needed
• Assist staff in navigating collections on-site and online, responding efficiently and effectively to material requests, as well as reference and research questions as necessary.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Library and Information Science or equivalent
• 1+ years experience working with and coordinating effective use of metadata in a digital asset management environment
• Experience applying current metadata standards to digital projects (text, image, video, audio) for access and dissemination via the web
• Experience working in a large creative services organization
• Working knowledge of Mac OS or Windows
• Experience working in project management and/or studio production preferred
• Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices
• Strong technical skills in digital asset management
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite, including photoshop and indesign
• Experience with professional archives management software, content management systems and databases
• Working knowledge of web-based discovery tools
• Prior experience with asset rights management a plus
• Foreign language skills a plus

• Organized, detail-oriented, and affinity for critical thinking and problem solving, and comfortable working independently
• An interest in children's media, education is appreciated
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion when handling confidential materials

• Well-developed interpersonal and writing skills are essential for efficient interdepartmental communication and teamwork
