Spurs Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Conversion Operations Coordinator to join the family! This position will assist in the oversight of our Retractable Seating Systems at the AT&T Center to ensure they are fully operational and maintained. This position will also play an integral role as an overnight Conversion Crew Leader who supervises our team in setting up and removing stages, chairs, and other equipment necessary for all AT&T Center events which may include NBA and NCAA games, concerts, and special events.

Responsibilities
• Support and daily oversight of our Retractable Seating System to include functionality, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist in the development and training of Conversion Crew Leads on operating procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management programs.
• Keep detailed records as it pertains to our Retractable Seating System to include vendors, parts, inventory, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Support and train our Seating System representative and lead a crew of up-to (6) temporary workers on a nightly basis to execute Seating System conversions.
• Support our Conversion Crew Leads, part-time staff and temporary workers to setup and remove stages, chairs, and other equipment as defined by event needs.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or, equivalent experience and training in lieu of degree. (Minimum 1 year will be considered.)
• Preferred experience in the operations field to include basketball / concert conversions, retractable seating, fixed seating, and other events.
• Ability to work overnight shifts in an arena setting. Flexible hours are required to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to fulfill an event-based schedule.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, boom lifts, or other power-driven equipment. Certifications preferred.
• Mechanically inclined individual preferred, general knowledge of mechanics with a passion for problem solving and making repairs to mechanical systems.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with an ability to simultaneously balance multiple tasks and adapt to change.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a clean & safe work environment.
• Must have the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and navigate through stairways in an arena setting.
• Flexible and creative when dealing with last minute request/changes with events.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting (min. of 75lbs), carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noises.
• Proficiency in MS Windows and Office Suite is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• This role is based in San Antonio - 10% of the job duties can be performed remotely, 90% of the work performed onsite as needed or based on event load.
