Role overview:

Sony Interactive Entertainment's Platform Experience Group (PEG) is a global organization that comprehensively delivers the hardware, product, and technology of the PlayStation ecosystem.

The Platform Experience Group is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to drive initiatives and facilitate operations, ensuring the Platform Experience Group remains highly successful with streamlined organizational operations. This person will be a member of the PEG Office Team with visibility to group strategy and will collaborate extensively with the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:
• Understand strategy, objectives, priority, and goals and translate into planning and execution
• Build, optimize, and run operating processes to effectively manage the organization
• Lead and support critical projects based on emergent needs and leadership expectations
• Collaborate with executives and multiple departments to develop program plans for organization wide execution including timelines, dependencies, risk factors, success criteria, and outcomes
• Identify, understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies
• Anticipate and remove obstacles proactively and effectively
• Organize and build executive level presentation documents and ensure clear communication for status reporting, issues and challenges to leadership and team members
• Perform market research, including market data collection, aggregation, analysis, and presentation documents
• Build financial, operating, predictive, and statistical models supporting strategy and initiatives
• Provide data and data driven analysis by performing database queries and interfacing with internal data and analytics teams

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of business operations, consulting, or corporate strategy experience
• Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and with cross-functional partners, including executive leadership
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic with the ability to manage ambiguity and multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, strategic, and analytical skills
• Excellent planning ability and attention to detail
• Experience performing research and data analysis to develop business strategy and plans
• Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, and executive presence
• Ability to query data and strong data analysis skills
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects at one time, and rapidly change priorities based on business needs
• Strong team-player
• Ability to work with multiple cultures and to tailor work style and messaging to collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• BA required, MBA strongly preferred
