Role Details
We are looking for you – a dynamic, data-driven, best-in-class talent to join the Peacock team as a Specialist of Paid Search. This is a brand-new, critical role within the Growth Marketing organization, specifically the Performance Marketing pod, supporting in-house paid search efforts for Peacock, as we look to insource management of our SEM program from 3rd party agencies. You will support the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing management of search engine marketing campaigns with the goal of driving efficient subscriber growth and engagement for Peacock.

The Paid Search Specialist will serve as a large contributor to the overall success of the Peacock business. They will support the day-to-day paid search campaign management, planning, optimizing and reporting campaigns to meet and surpass business success metrics. This person understands how search engines function; how bids relate to keyword performance and campaign efficiency so they can optimize and manage campaign budget allocation.

Responsibilities
• Supports the strategy, development and optimization of paid search campaigns to efficiently acquire qualified Peacock subscriber growth and engagement. This includes cost per acquisition/subscription and cost per stream campaign KPIs across paid search web (Google, Bing) and in-app (Google UAC, Apple Search).
• Responsible for campaign optimizations, tactical recommendations and leading all search executions.
• Performs data analysis for reporting and initial commentary to help identify new engine opportunities.
• Develops campaign reports and supports paid search creative/copy recommendations and activation.
• Evaluates provided proposals and makes initial recommendations.
• Maintains daily budget sheets; identify/addresses red flags.
• Monitors search performance to identify key trends and recommends advanced optimization techniques to drive account improvement.
• Liaise with the broader internal team to gain an understanding of campaign-specific goals, targeting and budgets, while collaborating on best practices and strategic recommendations.
• Analyze KPIs on an ongoing basis to ensure that campaigns are maximizing return on ad spend – focus on finding and driving high-quality Peacock subscribers as determined by lifetime value.

Qualifications
• 1-2+ years of hands-on, in-platform paid search experience.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated.

Desired Characteristics
• Paid Search experience within agency preferred.
• First-hand experience building and maintaining paid search campaigns from the ground up.
• Proven success with direct response paid search campaigns with proficiency in attribution and conversion tracking.
• Strong working understanding of the SEM industry, including major players and supporting technology (bid management tools such as SA360), Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google UAC, Apple Search.
• High energy, proactive team player, and flexible to pivot with changes in priorities.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, excellent communicator.
• Polished with excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and continually evolve skills to meet the ever-changing needs of the streaming industry.
• Has a progressive understanding of the interrelationship between paid search and other digital channels.
