Overview and Responsibilities:

CP&E Finance is a highly visible global team responsible for the identification, analysis, and development of critical initiatives to drive the long-term profitability and growth of CP&E's businesses worldwide.

This position is a key member of the Consumer Products & Experiences Finance team and will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis for Gaming & Emerging Media. This will include the development and ongoing enhancement of financial forecasting, planning, budgeting, and long-range planning processes. It will also include responsibility for assisting with month end consolidated P&L reporting and variance analysis to Senior Management.

The role will work closely with the wider Global Licensing Finance Team across several locations and will be responsible for enhancing the contribution of the finance function to the wider Global team.

This role will manage a large and disparate partner group and work closely with the Sr. Director FP&A, Global Gaming and Emerging Media to improve analytical tools and enhance operational visibility of risks and opportunities and awareness of strengths and weaknesses in the business to support overall business performance. This role will also play a critical part in creating, maintaining and distribution of performance measurements and analytics to support business leads in making informed decisions with the aim of growing the Gaming business and to expand into new areas including, but not limited to, Console Games, SaaS and NFTs.

Financial Management & Oversight
• Manage Gaming & Emerging business P&L
• Prepare ongoing cause of change analyses to support P&L variances on annual forecasts vs. Prior Forecast, Budget and Prior Year
• Prepare quarterly earnings outlooks vs. quarterly forecasts analysis
• Build and update key data and analytics for business decision support as requested by Strategy teams
• Maintain Longview planning units (i.e., profit centers, cost centers, project codes) to ensure the most efficient reporting from the financial system. Embrace change and tailor reporting for any go forward changes to the Paramount Global financial planning system
• Ensure reporting and all FP&A outputs are produced accurately and coincide with the deadlines established by Corporate Finance
• Provide direct support in the building of the annual Budget and 5-year LRP
• Craft LRP's with a focus on business growth and ROI metrics
• Conduct ad hoc modelling to support business decisions on emerging business initiatives as they arise
• Work directly with Controller's and Ancillary COE teams to ensure all transactions with the Games and Emerging Media Business are recorded properly in monthly accounting close process. This requires a working knowledge of accounting and revenue recognition rules
• Meet with business leads on an ongoing basis to gather the necessary financial inputs for accurate and timely preparation of monthly P&L forecasts
• Support the overall Global Licensing Finance team on an ad-hoc basis

Basic qualifications
• At least 6+ years combined experience in a media organization, finance team or accounting firm
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA a plus

Additional qualifications
• Highly analytical - data-based decision making, including strong Excel skills
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel to allow for efficient synthesis of large data sets
• Experience with SAP and Longview is a plus
• General interest in media industry, willing to draw on industry news/standard processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail with the ability to balance between micro and macro
