Lead Analyst, SAP Ariba (Procure To Pay)

Job Description:

The SAP PTP Lead Analyst possesses thorough knowledge of SAP Procure to Pay processes and systems including SAP Ariba, SAP MM/AP and SAP SRM . Analyst will be involved in the Ariba and SAP S4HAna solution implementation projects and support and maintenance of existing SAP PTP Ariba and SRM production environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as Ariba Administrator by performing System and Customer Administration Activities required in Ariba such as configuration of Guided Buying, business rules, approval workflows, and troubleshoot errors in master data loads and transactional interfaces etc
• Works with SAP Ariba customer support in fast resolution of SRs and in any of customizations needed and track application upgrades
• Configures and maintains the relevant functions for Procure to Pay in SAP ECC or SAP SRM or SAP SUS
• Supports complete life cycle from business requirement definition, through design, build, testing, training, technical documentation, and delivery to production
• Collaborates effectively with the technology, security, and application delivery teams in resolving issues and implementing enhancements or changes to systems
• Handles enhancement requests from business partners by facilitating requirements, gathering sessions and documenting those requirements thoroughly and determining the impact on the production SAP environment.
• Authors functional specifications and test scenarios; and performs extensive testing and regression testing
• Provides production support and identify root causes to issues and implements the solution effectively and promptly

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 8+ years of experience in SAP MM, SRM with hands-on experience with 2+ plus years of SAP Ariba suite. (S/4 HANA experience a plus)
• Must have hands-on experience in SAP Ariba administration and configuration
• Must have hands-on experience in SAP configuration of SRM/MM Procurement/AP

Additional Qualifications:
• Confirmed experience in end to end process design and development and integration with PTP related cross-functional areas/modules with SAP
• Good knowledge and understanding of overall solution architecture and cloud integration methods with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA
• Ability to problem solve with strong troubleshooting and technical experience; identifying root cause application issues and proposing solutions
• Experience in integration with other SAP modules or third-party tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, organization skills, and a good sense of ownership
• Self-directed, hard-working attitude who can work well independently and remotely!
• Strong oral and written skills to effectively maintain the relationships with internal and external partners
