Job Description
The Group Lead, Brand Operations is at the center of the Thunder's creative processes, leading our project management systems to ensure that our Brand Expression team thrives and that those requesting projects are heard and happy. Whether it's setting creative up for success strategically, devising a perfectly formatted plan, or keeping everyone on track, the Group Lead, Brand Operations does everything with purpose and should be no stranger to juggling, wrangling and getting a job done. They should be a lover of systems, a planner by nature, and thrive when putting their project management savvy to use. They should especially enjoy assisting in the strategic and planning stages of campaigns and projects, ensuring they are on brand, on track, and on budget, while also seeing them through to completion.

In this role you will:
• Lead the Brand Operations team, including the Manager, Brand Operations and Brand Operations Coordinator, using a motivational leadership style that inspires action and empowers them to succeed. You will also work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Brand Identity and the Brand Expression Team.
• Contribute to the strategic positioning of the Thunder's brand identity by overseeing the development of the Brand Expression team's workflow while identifying opportunities to reinforce brand guidelines and industry best practices.
• Lead the management and coordination of all Brand Expression projects to be sure they are on time, on budget, and on strategy. That includes responsibility for all design and production needs within the organization for print and digital assets.
• Be proficient in project management, ensuring the highest level of standards are met at each step of the creative asset request process, from initiation to final delivery.
• Manage the systems, tools, and resources used to help the Brand Operations and Brand Expression teams maintain a healthy grasp on prioritizing their workflows and projects to ensure deadlines are met. That includes defining gaps in the project management system, establishing workflow standards, and offering solutions to increase efficiency. It also includes planning for the future by consistently evaluating workflows, forecasting upcoming projects, and establishing detailed timelines.
• Continually think about and share ways to build our Brand and team, as well as proactively setting a vision for how the Brand Operations vertical within our department can improve and evolve.
• Use client-service skills to build strong relationships within our department and among constituents throughout the company.
• Be a strategic thinker – big picture and small – who can set projects up for success, who values a creative brief, and who can use brand guidelines to evaluate creative to drive greater brand consistency and equity.
• Proactively collaborate across departments to reinforce brand direction, ensure consistent brand presentation, and foster brand compliance throughout all projects for the Thunder, Blue, Thunder Shop, and other associated products, programs and services.
• Work with vendors to establish print budgets, production timelines, delivery and installation.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to this role:
• A bachelor's degree preferred. However, we are open to people with a wide range of educations and life experiences.
• At least 5 years of advertising/marketing/branding agency experience in project/production management.
• Proven leadership experience and a self-starter mentality.
• A personality that is highly organized, adaptable, able to work effectively with others, proactive, focused, efficient and has strong time management skills.
• The ability to handle manage a project from start to finish and deliver an extraordinary, detail-oriented product.
• Outstanding communication, written, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and a motor that won't stop.
• The versatility to show off your left-brain analytic skills and right-brain creative talents.

Primary work location will be the Thunder corporate office located in downtown Oklahoma City. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director, Brand Influence and Identity.
