Overview & Responsibilities:

As a key member of Paramount Global Kids & Family Content Insights Team, the Content Insights Manager will be responsible for Nickelodeon and Awesomeness content research across Live Action Scripted, Unscripted, and Animation (including development, acquisitions, pilot testing, and current series maintenance) in support of linear, streaming (our own and our partners) and digital platforms (i.e., YouTube). The Content Insights Manager will lead several lower impact qualitative and quantitative research projects and assist on more high-profile projects while providing clear and useful insights primarily to key internal clients; on occasion, the Manager will present those insights to external groups such as content creators, SVOD and key Consumer Products partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Initiate, create and complete many live-action, animation production/acquisition content research projects
• Manage testing calendar and project timelines, while coordinating with VP and Sr. Director on ensuring projects meet deadlines
• Synthesize focus group findings and quantitative testing results into useful insights
• Partner closely with research vendors to coordinate testing criteria, screener creation, recruitment, and ultimately report writing and dissemination
• Facilitate focus groups effectively with both kids and parents on their reaction to content concepts, animatics/storyboards, short-form, and long-form content as well as key art and on-air and off-channel marketing
• Coordinate with internal creative teams to understand wants and needs for research, formulate research objectives, and generate custom research methodologies when needed
• Create debrief decks, final reports, and presentations to share our toplines and research findings with key partners, including creative teams and Sr. Management
• Work with Sr. Analyst in leading all aspects of the monthly Kids Advisory Team (KAT) panel as well as managing the in-house Kids' Research Lab with the support of Sr. Manager
• Work closely with the Research Coordinator on planning and execution of monthly Studio Culture + meeting discussing pop culture trends; contribute to monthly trends newsletter
• Partner with larger Consumer Insights team to manage and assist with promo and international research

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• At least 5+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research, preferably at a media/entertainment company or kid-targeted industry or vendor
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
• Experience in a kids-oriented environment

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with mTAB or SPSS a plus
• Experience moderating focus groups with kids a plus
• Superior written and presentation design skills, with the ability to explain research results in a clear and compelling manner
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills; able to prioritize and manage several projects seamlessly!
