Job Description
The Hill, a division of Nexstar Media Group, is hiring experienced reporters to grow the scale and impact of our daily newsletters and launch new offerings in an election year.

The focus of the newsletters is broad, encompassing Congress, the White House, the courts, media figures as well as the Washington, DC social scene.

We're looking for non-partisan reporters who can spot trends and analyze not only what politicians and other public figures are doing, but also what they are thinking.

You should be passionate about storytelling and crafting sharp copy that people want to read. Here are some examples of various styles we've used to engage our audience:

The Hill's newsletters are meant to put headlines in context, explaining how lawmakers' and policymakers' decisions practically affect our readers -- anyone interested in politics and policy
