National and Local Sales Specialist (Lexington, KY)

The National and Local Sales Specialist (located in Lexington, KY) will be responsible for managing National and Local Accounts in the Sales Department. This position will also provide support for other key functions including, but not limited to: Political Sales, Presentations, Data Entry, Digital Sales and other duties as assigned by sales management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Reports to Director of Sales
• Management of National Sales Accounts
• Management of assigned Local Sales Accounts
• Assists with all political sales and orders
• Digital order entry & reporting
• Contest and promotion assistance
• Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices and procedures
• Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems
• Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Sales and other sales management

Requirements & Skills:
• Proficient in Wide Orbit Traffic
• Proficient in Wide Orbit Media Sales
• Proficient in Strata or other media avail software
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products, especially excel and power point
• Minimum 5 years broadcast sales experience
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
