Nexstar Media Inc. in Albany, New York has a career opportunity for someone who wants to evolve in digital media. The Digital Account Coordinator position works closely with the sales team and management to support our local digital sales operations. In this role, you will play an integral part of our daily operations including assisting with creation of sales presentations, order entry, digital campaign set up, creative requests, ad trafficking, reporting, and communication with both internal and external teams. Candidate must have good communication skills, superior computer skills, creativity and be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience within sales and/or digital media and marketing is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft products is necessary.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Foundational knowledge of various digital marketing strategies including SEM, SEO, Social, Display, Video, OTT, Mobile and Addressable Solutions, Email and Digital Audio.
• Assist sales executives with all aspects of the digital sales process including, but not limited to:
• Digital Strategy Recommendations
• Sales Presentations
• Order Entry
• Campaign Set Up
• Campaign Monitoring and Coordination
• Creative Requests
• Creative Trafficking
• Reporting & Analytics
• Assist management with aspects of the digital sales operation including, but not limited to:
• Digital Sales Materials
• Inventory Forecasting
• Campaign pacing
• Proposal Creation
• Campaign Set Up
• Campaign Coordination
• Campaign Performance Metrics
• Communication with both internal and external teams
• Attention to detail and effective follow through are key to being successful in this position.
• Time management skills necessary to multitask order entry, campaign coordination, proposal creation, etc. in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs and file sharing programs.
• Ability to assess needs of clients/team members in order to meet the needs of the business.
• Problem-solving and deductive reasoning is required to accomplish tasks.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Effective use of time is very important in this position.
• Ability to learn systems & terminology in the digital world
• Attitude is key to being an asset to the company, a willingness and passion to learn the business.
• Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience and a College degree in Marketing or business preferred.
• Training/Equipment: Desktop computers, MS Office to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
• Work Environment/Mental/Physical Requirements: This position requires a cooperative, pleasant attitude, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and challenges. May work in a high stress environment with deadline pressures.
