Job Description
NewsNation is looking for an in-studio correspondent to report for the network's flagship morning show Morning in America. We seek a correspondent who is an excellent live performer and natural storyteller, someone who is flexible and adaptable and equally at ease fronting an explainer at the smartboard, covering breaking news, or diving in on a pop culture, entertainment, or lifestyle story.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Must be an excellent live performer able to report in the studio and on occasion from the field
• Must love stats and facts and be able to explain complex topics while engaging at the smartboard
• Must be able to research, conduct interviews and script stories on a variety of topics
• Must contribute unique and interesting story ideas
• Must be able to work collaboratively with other talent, producers, photographers/editors and studio crews
• Must be able to receive and process feedback and consistently seek to improve and elevate as a performer
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Communication/Journalism or related degree required (equivalent years of experience may substitute for education)
• (5) years television anchoring or reporting experience required
• Solid vocal delivery, camera presence, and clear enunciation
• Strong reporting skills
• Understand importance of social media
• Promotes teamwork and maintains attitude of cooperation with all network personnel
• Operate newsroom computer systems
