Specialist, Publicity Docs and Unscripted - UK (FTC)

Netflix is looking for a specialist to handle publicity for its original documentary and unscripted series. We need someone who is equipped and excited to spearhead publicity campaigns, autonomously with passion and creativity. Do you live and breathe documentaries? Are you a massive fan of our reality shows? Do you stay ahead of the curve and take in the latest documentaries and unscripted shows across different platforms? From our true crime titles like The Puppet Master, Tiger King and Tinder Swindler to our reality TV hits like Too Hot To Handle through to our nature programming like Our Planet and sports titles like Formula 1: Drive to Survive, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing innovative campaigns from start to finish.

We are looking for people who are passionate and curious about the growing global unscripted entertainment landscape.

The Docs and Unscripted Specialist will work closely alongside the Docs and Unscripted Manager, delivering innovative publicity campaigns across a wide UK media landscape, delivering great content, driving conversation and pushing creativity. The role will report to the Docs and Unscripted Manager.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work across some of the biggest and buzziest documentaries and nonfiction titles in the world, a chance to take different approaches to manage and execute publicity campaigns across our varied nonfiction slate.

Qualifications
• The successful candidate for the role will have 6+ years of entertainment publicity
• Passionate about entertainment and a fan of documentaries and nonfiction
• Highly motivated and curious
• Experience handling high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people, departments and teams while simultaneously managing competing priorities.
• They will be a clear and concise communicator in a variety of media.
• Must possess solid organisational skills and be able to manage time effectively.
• Scrappy, resourceful and relentless in trying to find a solution and make wise decisions, even when faced with ambiguity.
• Able to pivot and adapt to shifting priorities without missing a beat
• Curious and eager to learn. Take risks, make mistakes and then explore what can be done differently or better the next time.
• Have a point of view, be collaborative and offer their unique perspective and voice.
• Poised, not scared to voice complex ideas to peers & leaders and are 'cool under fire' while managing a multitude of simultaneous tasks.
• Take action on constructive feedback and do not avoid giving feedback to the rest of the team.
• Understand and execute stellar publicity campaigns.
