Job Description
Central Eastern Europe has got a vibrant history of film and TV production, which Netflix wants to tap into to bring joy to our members all over the world. For this rapidly growing slate, Netflix is seeking an experienced Post Production Manager to join the team. The focus of this role will be to manage the increasing amount of productions in Poland. Furthermore, you will support Netflix's growth into further Central Eastern European countries, setting our partners up for success in post-production. This is a dynamic position with lots of interesting productions to be involved in.

You will join the current Post Manager and Coordinator and partner closely with cross-functional teams, amongst others Creative Content, Physical Production, Production Finance, VFX and Legal. You will manage titles across all content types - scripted and unscripted films and series - review budgets, schedules, and have the ability to troubleshoot technical and workflow issues. Apart from getting involved in management at the show level, the role will also help identify trends, opportunities and issues and work on strategic solutions. Thereby, the candidate must have deep familiarity with the post-production landscape in the region, maintain vendor and post crew relations and get involved in industry-wide initiatives. The role involves being both assertive and diplomatic in interacting with a team that is dynamic and diverse while remaining strongly aligned to our Netflix culture. This is a demanding and fast-paced position that requires someone who is a proactive thinker, self-motivated and able to exercise good judgment and initiative.

The role will require some regional travel within Central and Eastern Europe and occasionally global travel (when international travel is allowed).

Responsibilities:
• Technical Setup of a Project which includes working with other internal Netflix teams and external production partners to define dailies and post workflows, such as backup strategy, colour pipelines, HDR, ATMOS, master and final archive delivery.
• Post Budgeting and show set up:
• Review creative material/scripts and provide notes on post-production requirements, flagging any potential challenges and proposing solutions.
• Review, prepare and vet show budgets and schedules, providing feedback internally and externally on viability and risks.
• Track and manage all post related costs, keeping stakeholders apprised of the status.
• Post Scheduling:
• Create/Help inform and draft post schedule
• Collaborate with internal teams (including VFX and Localisation) and external production team to lock schedule
• Troubleshoot and communicate all changes to the schedule to internal/external teams

Qualifications:
• At least 10 Years experience in long-form productions as a Post Production Supervisor, Senior Post facility producer, or similar
• Bilingual fluency in Polish and English Deep understanding of and hold relationships within the Post Production community in Poland.
• Knowledge of the landscape in further Central Eastern European countries is a plus
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)Humble yet confident communication style, able to build relationships within a diverse team
• Familiar with the current trends and workflows, including HDR and Atmos
• Willingness to continue learning and drive innovation
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly - for important or urgent matters also after hours
• Proficiency in the Google Suite and Movie Magic Budgeting is a plus.
