About This Role
We're seeking a seasoned product leader to set the vision and roadmap for growth through product innovation in payments. In this role, you'll be building on top of the biggest subscription service in the world -- helping us reach new audiences, achieve an even higher level of business performance, and evolve to a broader set of payment capabilities. In addition to managing a team of product managers, this role leads a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and requires deep collaboration with global and regional business leaders. In this role, your team will be responsible for new payment methods, infrastructure for payment processing, and fraud management.
A successful candidate in this role will have three key skills:
• You're an expert on scaling payment platforms to operate at a global level. You're able to abstract core product concepts and standardize critical user experiences and platform behaviors while allowing for local configurability and optimization.
• You have demonstrated product vision and judgment. You make thoughtful strategic tradeoffs between short-term performance and long-term bets. You're comfortable using data to inform priorities while demonstrating consistent customer focus.
• You are known as a collaborative and inspirational leader who fosters strong relationships and alignment across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Set a vision and strategy for the evolution of our payment platform; Communicating this strategy broadly throughout the organization
• Defining, developing, experimenting and launching payment innovations on a global level
• Leading cross-functional teams to define and execute innovative ideas
• Managing a team of product managers who own, develop, and roll out our payments product roadmap
• Owning decisions on your product area on the roadmap and what to roll out
What We're Looking For:
• 10+ years experience in product management with a proven record of successfully launching and growing payment products (media/tech/entertainment focus preferred but not required)
• 5+ years leading well-established product management teams, with a proven record of prioritizing and successfully launching impactful products or platforms, preferably with global scope where the consumer is paying for the service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to excel in a dynamic, intellectual, results-driven environment
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a cross-functional team - your ability to build strong relationships is critical to success in this role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will write and speak a lot!
• Comfortable using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives
• Strong instincts for outstanding customer experience
