Responsibilities
Commerce Writer
Shop TODAY, the commerce arm of TODAY, is looking for a Commerce Writer who will be responsible for executing articles with a focus on trending and news angles.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of editorial, research and reporting skills with a firm understanding of trends and product news within the lifestyle space. This candidate should have the ability to write informative shoppable editorial content focused on product categories across fashion, home, beauty, wellness and food. They should also have a knack for researching and interviewing a diverse range of sources from different backgrounds to help readers make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Write multiple e-commerce articles each day consisting of rounds-up, explainers, one-off social media trends, first-person reviews and more. These can range from short write-ups to longer, expert-led explainers.
• Pitch timely articles based on trending or popular topics within the lifestyle space with Shop TODAY's brand voice in mind
• Brainstorm longer explainers and in-depth articles based on trending topics
• Work across teams to help develop and execute franchises and tentpole events

Qualifications/Requirements
Job requirements:
• 3 years of experience writing for a digital media brand, preferably in the lifestyle space
• Strong understanding of the digital lifestyle space – knows what is trending or popular on social media for beauty, fashion, home and fitness
• Knowledge of AP style
• Familiarity with a news cycle and working in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to write quickly and accurately
• Experience with analytics tools like Chartbeat, SEMRush, Google Trends a plus
• E-commerce experience a plus

Additional Requirements:
