Job Description

Responsibilities
The Specialist, Multiplatform Content is responsible for the creation and delivery of short form video content for Telemundo. The Specialist helps drive the omnichannel strategy forward, while strategically delivering content across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with an established team of online journalists, and create metadata, including SEO titles, descriptions, and tags for Telemundo shows, including news, daytime programming, and realities.
• Edit and cut the full length shows into clips to be syndicated and published in a timely manner across all digital platforms, including Telemundo.com, YouTube, Telemundo app, Peacock, and more
• Optimizes the videos published in our digital platforms to ensure videos are ready for digital promotion
• Communicate effectively with the show producers to coordinate and execute deadlines, schedules, and procedures
• Reports directly into the Director of Multiplatform Streaming Content and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in video content production
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Journalism/Mass Communication or equivalent experience in digital media, marketing or TV production
• Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Must be able to communicate effectively with employees across all levels of the organization as well as external partners

• Must be willing to work in Miami, FL
• Must be available to work all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, late breaking news, and hurricane emergencies.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
