Role

The NBCUniversal BOLD Vets Production Residency program is a one-year, rotational program for veterans interested in producing creative, branded content across various areas of the business. The Producer in NBCU's BOLD Veterans Production Residency program will shadow and support a variety of Creative Partnerships' production teams, including NBC Prime, Hispanic, Entertainment & Lifestyle, and the Portfolio creative and production groups.
The Producer in Residence will support concept development, scripting, production and post-production of branded content across linear, digital, and social platforms. The position also offers an opportunity to participate in the development of in-show integrations across NBCU programming, custom content across the NBCU portfolio of programs, initiatives, and properties – and work both remotely and on-the-ground with creative and production teams based in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
The position requires a strong production skill set and a commitment to producing compelling content that is aligned with both brand missions and network vision. The ideal candidate must also be capable of collaborating on scripted and unscripted projects, to bring innovative brand creative to life in a relevant and engaging way.

Qualifications/Requirements

Responsibilities

Creative
• Support the conceptualization, development of branded video content, cross-networks and cross-platform
• Participate in on-set integrations, aligned with client commitments and in compliance with network and FTC/FCC guidelines.

Production (live action, talent, design, motion graphics, experiential and off-air)
• Learn from Legal, Business Affairs, Talent, and other appropriate departments about the impact that their areas of the business have on branded content
• Participate in client and internal calls, in areas related to production
• Attend and support network and original content shoots
• Collaborate with post-production team on assigned branded content deliverables
• Communicate production recaps and updates to internal and external stakeholders on a consistent and timely basis

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of production experience (long form or short form) including preparation of production budgets, securing and managing crews, supervising post-production
• Strong creative and production skill set with tangible examples
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to travel and on weekends with short notice
• Must be willing to work hybrid, and on-set as needed
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
