Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director, Client Strategy & Insights, the Client Strategy Manager will be part of a team responsible for developing deep knowledge of global industry and consumer trends to identify insights and inspire ideas that ultimately translate into innovative client-focused NBCU+Sky portfolio solutions. The successful candidate will need to be analytically acute and creatively curious – able to unlock the human and cultural story behind consumer behaviors (on and offline), a wide variety of data points, emerging social trends, and transform those into unique opportunities for our clients. They are an inquisitive culture seeker who can bring fresh, unexpected points of view by staying on top of industry innovation, new media opportunities, internet trends and be able to synthesize that information into a compelling story.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver persuasive strategies around global trends and insights in support of the Client Partnerships team and NBCUniversal+Sky's global portfolio positioning
• Maintain a deep knowledge of global category and competitive activity, keeping a finger on the pulse of existing and emerging consumer and cultural trends
• Mine global research and data for insights that inspire client-centric strategies and help drive revenue for NBCUniversal and Sky
• Be an active contributor to global strategies that differentiate NBCU+Sky in the marketplace and articulate our unique value proposition
• Understand emerging behaviors, technologies, and companies that are changing our client's businesses /advertising landscape and present new visions for how NBCU+Sky can act as consultative partners to help our clients navigate new opportunities
• Ability to translate market trends into fully realized marketing and media investment strategies
• Contributor and co-author to global, insight-driven thought leadership projects
• Partner with and influence teams across our internal organization as well as externally with clients, agencies and other partners

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in relevant experience (experience in strategy in media, creative or innovative setting)
• Successful candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong qualitative and quantitative research expertise; capable of extracting insights and ideas from a multitude of resources
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and other presentation tools with a high standard for visual presentations; design knowledge/skills preferred
• Strong communication skills, articulate presenter and writing experience necessary
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Act proactively to anticipate and deliver on sales requests and client needs
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with excellent attention to detail
