Responsibilities
Position: FP&A & Marketing Analyst
Reporting to: FP&A Manager
Division: hayu, NBCU International Networks & D2C
Location: London
The analyst will help support the FP&A team with P&L management including subscriber modelling, revenue & cost management as well as consolidation of numbers for reporting deadlines. The analyst will also help to prepare any ad hoc analysis and presentations required by the FP&A team to present internally to the wider hayu team and the NBCU finance functions based in the US.
The analyst will also support the Marketing organisation, monitoring and reviewing spend and acting as a business partner to the Marketing team to ensure that Marketing financials are captured accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
include ensuring spend is within budgeted allowances and Purchase Orders (POs) are raised in accordance with approved activities. The role will require tracking of costs to budgets, activity estimates, PO information and invoices. Good business partnering skills are important as the role will require active budget management for the Marketing team. Subscriber modelling will be a key element of this role alongside the careful management of other P&L line items
Tasks required to be completed by the analyst, but not limited to:
• Subscriber & Revenue modelling
• P&L Cost management
• Preparation of modelling, revenue & costs for Budget and other internal deadlines
• Creation & tracking of Marketing POs, ensure back-up and approval meet NBCU standards
• Liaise with Accounts Payable and vendors on queries and vendor creation / changes in master data systems
• Sign off of monthly Marketing accrual alongside Marketing Managers
• Ad hoc FP&A analysis and presentations
This role will also be responsible for identifying and actioning improvements within the Marketing P2P process, which may include the automation of the cost tracking & budget process.
Skills & Experience
• Ambition to qualify (ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA) preferable
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills essential
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Quick learner who can work independently
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Experience with various automated Marketing budget tools preferable
• Experience working in a large multinational organisation or digital business preferable
