Responsibilities

The Position

NBCUniversal's Advertising Platforms & Operations team is responsible for the product development, project management, and day-to-day operations of NBCUniversal's full advertising technology suite. The division services both internal and external customers in support of NBCUniversal's $8B annual advertising business.

The Customer Solutions team within Advertising Platforms & Operations is responsible for leading the product development processes for the technology solutions delivered to our advertising partners. We are currently seeking a Director, Advanced Digital, Data & Integrations to help drive customer innovation and deliver high-growth ad products across NBCUniversal's ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative, technically and business savvy person who is passionate about media and advertising innovation, cares about customers, and understands the value of good user experiences.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Strategy, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver best-in-class product offerings while working in lockstep with the Advanced Audiences Sales Product lead
• Partner with external data vendors and teams to continue to refine data collection and activation process
• Stay abreast of new addressability and privacy solutions in the marketplace and ensure product set is future-proofed and scalable
• Partner directly with Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) on robust rollout of NBCU 1st-party data and serve as liaison between EDO and Data Operations, devising tactics, strategies, and product concepts to evolve the data set and activation process
• Partner with Customer Solutions team leads to connect on how we activate data (e.g., Advanced Advertising, Audience Insights Hub, etc.)
• Define strategy and requirements for both advanced and broad demo targeting as it relates to new currency solutions
• Define and manage KPIs relative to audience campaigns from a data perspective
• Partner with Advanced Audience Sales and Contextual Intelligence product teams to identify and execute on advanced targeting concepts and strategies
• Manage product roadmaps and effectively communicate timelines to all stakeholders by leading communication, prioritizing key features, and establishing timelines with external partner Engineering teams
• Develop use cases and revenue justification/business value analysis in conjunction with Strategy team
• Lead commercialization process both internally and externally to ensure effective product launches
• Collaborate with Project Management and Product Marketing teams to ensure product enhancements are embedded in GTM collateral
• Track and test key performance indicators to evaluate data and improve metrics
• Document internal workflows with help from Product Marketing to ensure success of new-to-market product launches
• Document and detail user stories for Engineering team
• Conduct frequent proof of concepts with cross-functional stakeholders to inform successes, roadblocks, or failed attempts at activating new product solutions

Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years of experience working in media, preferably some involving advanced advertising product development
• Proven track record of owning customer-facing product solutions in cross-functional environments
• Experience collaborating with external vendors and managing product roadmaps
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the demonstrated ability to take the seed of an idea through launch while prioritizing effectively to get things done
• Knowledge of technical and operational product and project requirements
• Proven ability to understand and communicate using technical language (e.g., APIs, requirements documents, agile systems, etc.)
• Fluency with data; can dissect and interpret it to understand market dynamics and user behaviors, measure product performance, identify pinch-points, and inform decision making
