Responsibilities
Position: EMEA Continuity Manager
Reports to: Head of Media Planning
Division: International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer (Programming / Media Planning)

Overview

This role will be responsible for the scriptwriting, recording and delivery of on-brand continuity scripts for selected brands in the NBCUniversal portfolio – namely Universal, Studio, Telemundo, SYFY, 13th Street and DIVA. The Continuity Manager will be responsible for organising and producing recording sessions with voiceover artists and ensuring all links are delivered in time for TX.

Key Responsibilities
• Research and source programme information / synopses
• Script on-brand continuity voiceover links for the above channels (~650-675 links per month)
• Work with Marketing, Creative & Social Media teams to ensure the brand tone is present in all continuity elements
• Work alongside Media Planners to deliver against Media Planning and Navigation strategies
• Direct English-speaking voiceover sessions
• Data entry and delivery of TX files
• Keep on top of schedule amendments affecting scripts and liaise with Media Planning and Presentation to communicate changes
• When needed, source new talent, audition and present options to key stakeholders

Requirements/Skills
• Copywriting experience
• Clear understanding of interpreting brand guidelines
• Ability to search, using multiple platforms/sources, for programme info, insight and details beside basic EPG synopses
• Excellent attention to detail
• Organisational and time management skills in order to plan and meet deadlines
• Understanding of the broadcast process, with a basic understanding of presentation scheduling
• A calm and personable manner, able to deal with external talent and agencies
• Motivated and proactive
