NBC Sports Next, an NBC Universal company, is hiring a Sr. Revenue Planning Analyst. This role will support the revenue planning and strategic analysis efforts within NBC Sports Next. The role will analyze large datasets to create executive level summaries of key trends and manage revenue models to support strategic decision making within our various Operations teams. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is able to communicate well with various internal stakeholders and effectively analyze large data sets to create high level summaries, strategic revenue models and accompanying insights

Job Duties
• Utilize statistical modeling and mathematical optimization models to develop and refine revenue management models congruent to the evolving business on an ongoing basis.
• Assist in developing revenue-enhancing strategies and models to drive optimal decision making and to help increase revenue for the Core businesses within NBC Sports Next.
• Oversee SQL server management studio table creation processes for budget and estimates across all NBC Sports Next revenue streams.
• Assist with the long-range planning, annual budgeting process, and monthly forecasting process across all revenue streams at NBC Sport Next and coordinate with Finance.
• Manage revenue forecasts for all revenue streams for the NBC Sports Next business and work with key stakeholders to communicate revenue targets and KPI's accordingly.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to bring insights into inventory needs in high-utilized markets, trade improvement initiatives, creative payment terms, unique deals, rolling terms, and a variety of revenue enhancement initiatives
• Create presentations and other ad hoc communications summarizing NBC Sport Next's performance to Senior Management.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• BA degree in Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, Management Science or a related field
• A minimum of 2+ years of financial or revenue/sales planning & analysis experience
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to work through complex problems.
• Advanced skills in Excel and in reporting tools like SQL, SAS, R, Business Objects, Tableau, etc.
