Production Assistant, Olympics

Job Description

Responsibilities
The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting production personnel in all phases of Olympic and Paralympic production.
• Handle incoming Olympic and Paralympic production needs and requests
• Utilize online media archive to pull footage to support edits and live broadcasts
• Create show screeners to assist production personnel and on-air talent
• Contribute in various production environments such as control rooms, highlight operations, show turnaround edits, and feature production
• Coordinate show graphic needs
• Perform and gather relevant sports research
• Regularly generate, pitch, and distribute story and show ideas
• Participate in all production planning meetings
• Support hiring efforts around upcoming Olympic & Paralympic Games and other sporting events
• Support all phases of production

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors' Degree or equivalent years of experience
• 1-2 years minimum of professional production experience
• Thorough knowledge of Olympic and Paralympic Sports

Additional Qualifications:
• Possess a high level of sports knowledge
• Possess a high level of initiative
• Must be a team player
• Have exceptional oral and written communication skills

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
• Must be fully vaccinated upon commencing employment, subject to legally required exemptions
