Responsibilities

The Marketing Associate, Digital will play an important part of the NBC Sports Next Performance Marketing team, helping execute paid search, paid social and SEO initiatives for multiple brands. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing & Brand Leads to optimize our paid and earned channels to align with business objectives.

Job Duties
• Works with Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing to execute SEO and PPC campaigns utilizing industry best practices and data driven approaches.
• Assist the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing with developing and communicating strategies and optimization opportunities across multiple brands within SEO & PPC
• Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Brightedge, Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMRush, Search Console and others to perform in-depth SEO analysis
• Generate actionable SEO recommendations across all areas that impact SEO, including technical, structural, content and link authority.
• Be a leading resource for key stakeholders for paid search (PPC), display, remarketing, paid social and keep up with latest SEM best practices
• Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, audience targeting and other key facets of paid search
• Good understanding and experience with Facebook Ads and Google Ads platforms to execute evergreen and tentpole campaign strategies.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelors' degree in Marketing or a related field
• 1-3+ years of SEO or PPC experience required
• Experience working within Google Ads and Facebook Ads Platforms
• Ability to identify optimization opportunities to improve performance
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable tasks
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.

Desired Characteristics
• Experience working within a SEO platform such as Moz, Brightedge, Ahrefs or ScreamingFrog
• Understanding of the fundamentals of web development and landing page creation in relation to conversion rate and SEO KPIs
• Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and Tableau
• Self-driven work ethic with a proven track record for hitting deadlines and working well under pressure
• Passion for analytics and digital marketing
• Data-driven personality, able to incorporate real metrics into day-to-day strategies
• Passion for sports
